Take it back, the Pacer was a great car. Never owned one, but always thought they were retro cool.

That's nothing - the back 4 cylinders are under the cowl in my Ford, and you've got to stand on a chair to get there.

Further evidence to my support my desire to have ENGINEERS acutually service/build something they "design". I just spent 6 hours welding up an 18 ga monstrosity because my "engineer" knows that metal, in sheet form, can be welded. Not that he'd have a clue how (no bondo allowed).

Just remember when you get done that your degree is not an entitlement to be an ass (speaking generally here). I wish the average engineer would respect people that know how to do and have been doing it longer than they've known it existed.

That being said - I'm sure Matt meant the designers over at Jeep need to check for paint off gassing, sick building syndrome, something funky in the water, or Homer Simpson designing their cars    .

Haha, the funny thing, is that i've met farrrr too many engineers who like to tap their rings on the desk and use their title for attention only to get shown up by people who ACTUALLY know what they're talking about through experience.

I'll get my degree next year, but i'll be damned if i'm going to voluntarily take a desk-jockey job.

I'd much rather be in the field, have my hands on things, and have the theory as a base...

now as far as those chrysler guys are going, god damn that's an ugly vehicle!

I'm actually terrified by what Jeep is doing...people buy this stuff! I can't figure it out, it makes no sense. What if you met someone that bought one of those things? Frightful, truly frightful.
