yaaaayyyyy!

as each day of the last week or so passed, and i was still unemployed, i was growing nearer to complete and utter panic.

i dropped off a resume yesterday at an independent motorcycle shop where a buddy of mine from another forums works (he told me to), but the boss wasn't there.
so i rang the shop this morning, and spoke to the boss, and asked if he wanted to do an interview and he said "yeah sure, come by around 2 this afternoon"

so i went, and we talked for about half an hour and I GOT THE JOB! i'm their new parts/accessories girl (i.e. customer service/gear/inventory brat) 8)

i start tomorrow morning... full time, regular daytime hours, and at a very nice wage! yay me! (and off to bed i go...)

Great news! Now you'll have to go to bed at the same time the rest of the world does... :P

Sounds like fun! Roberta just got a job too, but despite how much I pushed for her to get a job in a hot rod shop or a NAPA or something like that, she went and took a stupid silk plant job. How the hell am I gonna benefit from that?

Congrats Kayla!

Hey, I got a new job too!

Screw Valentine!

I now bust tires at a tire shop for lots more money and alot more room to grow (the other tire guys arnt that bright). I'm shooting for the sale position (IE: my own work truck and gas card!) by December.

SO does this mean you getting a bike this summer?

congrats dude! that's good news :) (ain't nothing wrong with changing jobs a lot, gotta find something that makes ya happy, right?)

yeah, i'm aiming to have my own by around the end of the year, or by this time next year. my boss told me that in a couple months if i'm doing really well that he'll give me a good raise. it's a really small busines, so he pays everyone decently.

also, he just told me today that if i get my license, and complete a riding course, that he'd see what he can work out for me. he might just let me work toward buying one of the bikes we currently have in the shop, and there's a couple that would be nice for me to start on :)

(and the parts guy who i'm taking over for just happens to be a teacher at one the bike schools here and will give me a discount whenever i'm ready to sign up and get started) woo wooooo!

Good job Kayla.

I'd be buying a bike this summer if a house wasn't in the way. Gas prices are CRAZY!

Glad you finally got your dream job, make the best of it
