Hi, folks.

It's been a few years since we've done this, so it's probably high time we have another winter dinner party. Some time in January or early February would give us a good opportunity to miss the xmas rush, or if we're super organized we might be able to squeek one out in November.

I'm looking for volunteers to help set this up, and for ideas of places to hold us. We also need a rough headcount, and any alert dates that would prevent you from coming. Cost per plate is yet to be determined.

Non-Volvo folk are welcome.

Matt

We have never made it to a winter party yet, so it's probably about time we did. I'll start the head count with 2. Thanks for getting the ball rolling Matt, not sure what we can do from here but feel free to ask if there is.

In on all counts. I'm willing to come to Calgary (Deirdre's availability in the winter is like booking the Pope...so who knows). I can help with organizing or just show up. Super stoked that this will happen.

I think this is a great idea, Paul. Nice and simple.

Now, a date. I like January, December is too busy for everyone. Please speak up if you have weekends that will not work. For me the first weekend in January is no good, I'm clear otherwise.

a meet would be rad however I usually don't know my work schedule till the night before, Calgary Transit loves to make plans difficult for its drivers.

We are away until the 6th of January. But we would be willing to come down. Just have to find a sitter for the kids down in Calgary.
