Sure we can take a drive by! So excited. Just need the bank stuff to go through then we are set!

Got the house inspection, one scary thing is the boiler is 70 years old!! been converted from coal (yup a coal shoot in the basment) to natural gas. Good times. 5K to replace probably.. but they don't build them like they used to!

Wow... Housing is cheaper in Calgary than Hinton! The cheapest house is at 195,000$ and is smaller than my appartment and is older than my grandmother! :lol:

Damn, buying a lot and getting a brand new house is cheaper than any stupid house in this town. All prices went up by about 40-50% (sometimes more) since december.

Even if I pay 1000$ a month for my appartment, no f**** way I'll ever get a house in this place. Anyway, I can't afford that much and I don't plan to stay here...

Ummm...Jordan just bought a house in Winnipeg, not Calgary. You would pay $300,000 and more for that house in the right neighborhood. $250,000 in the wrong one...
