 Post subject: Anyonr else having email problems? Shaw...

It would seem their password server is messed. I can't d/l emails the usual way nor can I log in through Webmail...grrrrr...

Yeah...possibly. A line actually fell down and hit a couple of people. Zapped them pretty good I hear. Must've taken down a webmail server somewhere. You'd think they might have back-up power supplies in place... :roll:

as far as I understood, we only have one mail cluster in calgary, and the connectivity to it fried, not the power :)

Shaw has killer back up power supplies btw 8)

Mine came back about 11:00 Friday morning. Still, that's close to 18 hours they were down. I have a hard time thinking that's acceptable, particularly with a provider as large as they are. How many peoples' livelihood depends on it?
