Finally got some shots of the house! They are here in my gallery
http://www.calgaryvolvoclub.com/gallery/v/Jordan/house/

September first we move in. When we bought it a month or two ago, houses in the area were in the 110-115K range. Now in the area houses are in the 135-145K range...

Wooooooot

Jordan
BC is still out though :(

Very nice Jordan, congrats

Houses are the best investment, our home has doubled in price every 10 years. We bought originally for $100k, a realator offered us $475k last week. got to love that

Our house has more than doubled in value in 10 years. We paid $119k for it and today it's worth close to $300k. Not that it's worth selling. We'd just have to buy another overpriced one. It's crazy though. We could sell it and buy a mansion on the east coast and live mortgage free...

Ya its the original hard wood... Downstairs its.... maple downstairs I believe, and upstairs its fur. Both been refinished.... All the original trim and doors to. Some of that stuff is knicked up so I'll pull it down and refinish it in my killer sweet garage. Once I get a steel door on the garage anyways.

Awesome house Jordan! Looks very similar in feel to what we had in Ottawa.

We're off to the East coast to get one of those mansions...

Well, probably not a mansion, but we'll be in the Maritimes anyway.
