In the last few weekends, I go to Jasper almost everyday to bike in the trail around. I just fallow the traffic with the tons of tourist at 90-100km/h. and about 10% of city driving.
I don't know of my car is intimidated by my bike in the trunk that use less fuel than the Volvo, but I get incredible fuel consumption. I do around 7.5-8.2L/100km in the last few weekend.
(don't use my car on week day) Yesterday, I put 29.3L for 391.5km and the tank was completly full.
Damn, for barely faster last spring (100-110km/h), I had trouble to get below 9.5L/100km. But in normal time, I always been between 9-10.
I'm impressed that a heavy square box can do so well! (I won't complain with the current gas price!
