Pa,

When you get into Kamloops and are heading UP THE HILL on #1 you will see an exit off to your right. It is the "McGill" exit. Take that exit, its the first exit you get to on the HUGE hill.

Right away there is a light. Go through it then turn into the Parking lot at the McDonalds. Go around the little strip mall and you'll see a Save-On-Foods. Right beside it there is a UPS place.

To get back to number one do not go back towards that exit as it won't let you back on. You need to get onto Columbia St. It will be the street right beside the A&W, make a left there, and follow it, you'll see the highway on the hill right infront of you.

Sounds like a long description, but it will add like 3 minutes to your trip, its really right beside the highway.

Jordan

For those of you who may be up.
I just installed my clutch, it wouldn't disengage. Matt came over, said everything was installed right and cant figure it out. So as I'm pulling it out again, I noticed that when I was loosening the pressure plate that the prongs actually came out higher then when it was tightened. Does that mean I got the wrong pressure plate? one for a hydraulic clutch or what?I noticed on the clutch fork that the pivot area was cracked so we welded that up for now, it had quite a bit of play in it, as it the pivot was pushing through, so maybe that 2-4mm that the pivot pushed through caused the travel of the clutch fork to be greatly reduced? who knows.

its 4:45 AM ... Just got home...

we managed to get the clutch working with the help of two spacers and a little welding ... the clutch fork arm thingie was kinda f***'ed.

Anywho, car moves under its own power, Andy and I are tired - but we are going to make it :)

Now... I need Gojo and a shower ... and then lots of food :)

Haha, you'd think so? But no... depending on how tired Andy is, I might have to drive the 242ti for a bit.

So, do you actually really have any memories of the trip or it was only a dream? I saw you sleeping for most of the trip, unless it was around a beer! :P

I was really lucky for my trip. I fuelled in Kamloops and paid with my credit card. I fuelled again when I arrived in Hinton and my credit card was rejected. I got a call this morning from my bank saying that they are seeing many transactions in Alberta recently and wanted to know if I was really in possession of my card, so they locked my card until they get the answer. Geeez, bunch of idiots! Wake up, I've been here and using my card here for at least 8 months... I was lucky that they didn't lock it while I was in BC! :x
