I was with Raz last night! I was already asleep when you came home. Don't try!

I will do some shopping this afternoon, if nobody offer something, I'll just head home with some detours.

I'm back home. I was happy to see you, Raz. Next time: :partyman:

Athal: Thanks a lot! My car runs a lot better. I didn't notice more power, but there's less lag in the power delivery. And I get a better fuel economy. 8.1L/100km for a cruising speed of 110-115 (In normal time, I get this by driving 100km/h during summer). :supz: (Can't have the wind in my back for that long! )

I'm just not sure why you said I could use regular fuel with less octane if I have a problem of pinging and pre-detonation... Should be the contrary, no? :?

Same here Steph, sorry but this was a "family" weekend with both the parents and in-laws

Your plugs showed signs of detonation, likely when your wastegate hose blew off and you were running unknown boost. You're certainly not pinging on 91 now.
Now that you have new plugs in, and your boost is under control, you can experiment with octane a bit. Next time you fill up, put in a quarter tank of 87 or 89 and see if you can hear pinging, or feel less power if the computer pulls timing. If its not happy, top up with 91.
The other thing you should do is run a can of "sea-foam" through the engine, to try and clean out any carbon build up. That will help reduce octane requirements too.
Glad to hear it's running well and you had a good drive back.

Don't worry guys, there will be other opportunities. Like Athal's show, probably.

I don't go to IGA either!

I know, it's a real ripoff. Like many things in Hinton. No competition. 3 groceries stores: 2 IGA that belong to the same owner and everything is overpriced and 1 safeway that is cheaper, but sell poor quality stuff and not always fresh.

Sure, call me! 817-2601

If you work around Robb area, just pass by Coal Valley! :D

:finga: IGA!!!!

doesnt look liek i'l have much standby but i'll give you a shout if i go to "final shot" i think it is to watch the hockey game or something

ciao
