What Repair Manual do you use?

I found these.

http://www.haynes.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CatalogSearchResultView?storeId=10001&catalogId=10001&langId=-1&pageSize=300&beginIndex=0&sType=SimpleSearch&resultType=2&stringValue=volvo&searchTerm=%22volvo%22

There's no book directly for the late 740s...

I use Haynes, it's ok. I have Clymer for the 140s, they are good if you can find them.

Haynes: 740 '83-88... :? There's many changes between the early generation and the lastest one, no?

not really, you can easily get by with the early model book.
