exactly how hard on the transmission are we talking here? I was more worried about the brakes, going full on gas n brake at the same time

brakes will be fine, trust me on that one. when you stomp on the brakes it just applied more pressure and force to the pads to hold the car in place, so if the car isn't moving then there isn't actually any wear on the pads.

The tranny however will go after probably a dozen neutral drops, what you are doing when you rev it and drop it is shock loading the tranny. All of a sudden everything needs to move at once so it stresses every part in the tranny, after a couple of those the internal fun that was the tranny will decide that it has had enough and fail aka broken tranny.

yes but Pylon (sorry don't know names yet darlin) was saying that brake stands were hard enough on transmissions (i'm assuming when he says brake stands he's referring to what Raz was telling me to do)

how hard is that on a transmission?

They load up your torque coverter pretty nicely and you might notice a bit of smell if your on it for too long but for a start its better then a neutral drop.

ps....don't forget to have it in sport :P

Yea, only sit in 'brake stand' mode for like, 3-5 seconds, more than that is not needed really, and thus - you dont wear your torque converter too much.

Do not neutral drop it!
