I'm trying to get my parents to get me this as a graduation present?

http://www.ipdusa.com/product.asp?strPa ... rtRecord=1

...oh yeah, and I'm debating whether in the spring, when tax money comes back at me (god bless being a student first half of the year!) I should acquire this or not...

although, I probably should concentrate on my noisy-ass suspension first eh? ;)

He's not a cocky jerk - he's actually one of the nicer folks most of us have had the pleasure to meet. It's the seemingly reasonable girls that he makes insane, somehow...

And Kat - lotsa girls are asking for boobs for their graduation present. You're one of a kind. Gotta love ya.

why the hell would I ask for boobs? come on, you don't mess with perfection!!! (no, i'm not full of myself am i?)

and yes, I know andy's an absolute sweetheart. I'm pretty sure i've offered to bear him sons on at least a couple of occasions...heehee. I'm just saying he's not allowed to turn into a jerk.

EDIT: y'all are really sweet guys (those that I have met). none of you are allowed to change that!!!!

Yikes. I bet you could get a custom one made up for less than that.

you can get a good custom made one for less than half of that most likely. I had a 3 inch stainless with mandrel bends and a nice muffler for my mr2 welded up for $250

I wouldnt waste the money on either item to be honest.

Kat if i were you I would spend the money on springs shocks and maybe some nice wheels :) The s70 has nice power the way it is plus you wont notice a huge improvement with an exhaust

Alot of exhaust shops are taking advantage of the latest craze and charging a lot of money for them. Go to any place really and it will be 500+, I mean I agree that you can get it cheaper but i'm just saying that it wont be saving 6 million dollars.

Well i have two places that i goto one is carline muffler across from chinook. and the other is this guy named chris who can weld basically anything you want from roll cages to engine manifolds. I guarantee you can save at least 50 percent getting a custom built vs buying online.

Chris from Higher Arcing? I haven't used him yet, but I hear he's really good.

I can vouch for carline, they are awesome people with a good attitude, fair pricing and quick service. Without a doubt I would take a car there if it needs exhaust stuff. George at tunedub does a good job on intake piping and all that if anyone needs it, he'll powdercoat it afterwards too if need be.

well...god knows my suspension needs work before the exhaust does.

oh well. my dad was actually lusting over the exhaust system....maybe he'll get it for me as a christmas pressie we can put it together...together! gasp! yeah right, but I can hope ;)

exhaust all that NEEDS to be done...doesn't even need to be done, its just cosmetic...a new tip would be nice. god those things get gross n godawful ugly after ten years.

I just find it scary that my dad actually has ipd bookmarked....especially since now he drives an acura and that ol sexy mustang.

alright shocks experts, come spring when I get my tax cheque in...i'll be knockin on your doors!
