i think we'll list the car this weekend, you're welcome to have a look anytime you're down this way. most annoying thing about it is the 3spd auto, not great for the highway.
austin mini? i'll have to look, i know they list a bmw mini on the auctions, and this is pre-'95 so not sure if that's the same one or not. Regardless, those vehicles, and volvos, tend to sell for $1000-2000, then you just add shipping and the various fees and expenses on top of that.
What's the mileage on the 245 and do you have any generic photos of it (especially the body)? Fair point about the autobox; I never liked sitting on the highway at 60/70mph on my old '79 (though didn't drive it much), and now 95% of my daily commute is highway, would ya believe!
Anything pre-'00 and at that price will be a Rover Mini. Pre-'90 will be Austin. What kind of information can you get on the cars (model/condition/mileage/transmission/options)? I know when my girlfriends brother used the online auctions the information was very limited. A Mini with a manual transmission and no a/c is a good buy for the enthusiast (most imports unfortunately have this combo). Pre-'93 (I believe) were carb and post-'93 were injection. I'd love another Mini but can't buy one this year; most for sale here are imports and overpriced so I was just curious how much they are really coming in for!
