Ahah! Yes, video is needed.
Well, after a long night working last night, I get 'er started this morning, checked all the fluids, and promptly got stuck in my back alley.
After getting out, I went for a spin, and it was hard finding some dry pavement to let 'er rip, but everything seemed good. Idle was good. Came home, and the car would barely idle, exactly the same as it used to anytime I revved it above 4 grand. Just barely runs. Sigh.
Went to work fine, started it for the first time cold after work, and it would BARELY run. This would sometimes happen before when cold, but eventually it would level out and idle and run fine. I always assumed it was related to compression. But nope, I barely dragged the thing home, feathering the clutch to get the thing to move. Sucked. Checked hoses and connections at home, everything looked good. Got in again, turned the key, VROOOOM, runs perfectly again. WTF? Went for a HARD drive, and it ran perfectly, and idled perfectly after slowing down. HUH?
Anyone have any ideas? The CPR is a NOS item, so I assume its good, but maybe not. At this point I suspect it as its the only fuel related part I changed.
That said, on this last drive, she screamed like a banshee. No hesitation revving to redline, and 2nd gear gets you really moving like never before. There's also a slightly different whirring sound from the engine which sounds cool. Hopefully I can get these other issues sorted.
