Drove my car out tonight for the first time after the engine swap, radiator strapped down, oil cooler zip tied up, we were set to go.
Drove down to Bowness, car felt good - stronger torque than old engine... not sure why? more compression?
get into boost a little, 5.5psi - stock wastegate level - studders sometimes under more than 50% load at said psi - is that because my O2 is pooched? tooo much timing? 87 fuel still in tank from a month ago? all of the above?
Ipd cam is nice, on a smooth 1/4 throttle pull in 2nd it has a nice curve all the way to 6000, just nice and smooth - my volvo has never been so smooth
why is that?
the new clutch is fantastic, this is what it's like to have a new clutch! Oh man it's nice

proper timing, misc vacuum leaks? - amm tuning - mmm Brackets, yes the radiator is in dire need of bracketry... think one of the bolts on the rubber doohickey U-joint is backwards, a bit of vibration at 150 or so? could be a tire - but i feel it in the transmission? oh, did I mention? it does 150 UP shaganappi from a standstill at John Laurie - half throttle, 4th gear, steadily climbing, barely making 4psi? baaarely stressing her out - such a nice motor!
